Happy Valentine’s Day! There are lots of free V-day events geared at kids, and one of our favorite movies of last year, The Holdovers, is screening free in Avalon. Lots of great hikes at Belleplain State Forest, too. Events are listed in chronological order, and orange links are clickable.

Container Gardening Class in Woodbine 

Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m.

Join us for a presentation and discussion on container gardening. You don’t need a large yard to grow plants, even fruits or vegetables – the possibilities are endless! 

Lower Township: Valentine’s Day Cards & Crafts

Make some Valentine’s cards and crafts at the library! This is a drop-in style program, with supplies available between the designated hours. No registration required – just show up! 

Belleplain Thursday Hikes 

Thursday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. 

Meet at the Park’s Nature Center  

Come hike through trails at Belleplain with guidance from a park staffer! These group hikes are a great way to get fit, get outside, and meet local folks.  

Cape May: Valentine’s Day Crafts

Kids ages 5-10 are invited to join us for a variety of Valentine’s Day crafts.  Stop by anytime between 5 and 6 to create fun Valentine crafts.  No registration is required; just show up!

The Wildwoods Convention Center will come alive as local Wildwoods celebrities dance for a good cause during the Wildwoods Dancing with Local Celebrities fundraiser event.
