Belleplain Birding Field Trip

April 17, 21, 24, 28, at 7:30 a.m.

Meet at Belleplain’s Office Park

Bert Hixon, a wildlife biologist, will take guests on a birding hike for beginners and experienced birders alike every Sunday and Wednesday from April 14 to May 19. Price is $5 per car.

Belleplain Thursday Group Hike

Thursday, April 18 at 10 a.m.

Meet at the Belleplain Park Office

A park ranger will take guests through one of the park’s many trails. Be prepared to walk at least 2 miles, and be prepared for muddy conditions.

Sea Isle: Cookies with Cops

Earth Day at the Zoo

Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Zoo, 707 US-9 North, Cape May Court House

The Cape May County Park and Zoo is the perfect location for this day of fun and learning. Hands on educational exhibits, children’s amusements, live entertainment, a variety of environmental eco-shops, scavenger hunt; all which will guarantee a day of earth friendly fun. Large tents on the center field will showcase educational exhibits. The Bandstand nearby will feature the entertainment for the day. Crafters, wares, and a food court surround the field and complete the venue.
