CAPE MAY – Beach Shack’s sixth annual Rusty Nail Doggie Pageant is just around the corner! Those who think their furry friends have what it takes to be named “The Official Rusty Nail Dog Mascot 2019” can enter their dog in the competition by filling out a submission form online with a photo and some fun-facts about their four-legged friend. From those entries, Rusty Nail Facebook fans will vote for their favorites. The 10 pooches with the most votes will go on to compete in a pageant at The Rusty Nail on Sept. 15. The emcee for the September pageant will be celebrity dog groomer and stylist, Jorge Bendersky. “The Pet Lady”, Dana Humphrey, will be one of the several judges for the event, which includes different categories like tricks and best style. The top dog will have their photo on the official Rusty Nail Dog Menu and bowser beer, plus their owners will take home a $250 Beach Shack/Rusty Nail gift certificate.
