CAPE MAY – Beach Shack’s fourth annual Rusty Nail Doggie Pageant is just around the corner! Those who think their furry friends have what it takes to be named “The Official Rusty Nail Dog Mascot 2017” can enter their dog in the competition by filling out a submission form online with a photo and some fun-facts about their four-legged friend. From those entries, Rusty Nail Facebook fans will vote for their favorites. The ten pooches with the most votes will go on to compete in a pageant at The Rusty Nail on September 17. Judges for the September pageant include celebrity dog groomer and stylist, Jorge Bendersky and “The Pet Lady”, Dana Humphrey, who will be judging the dogs on things like tricks and best style. The top dog will have their photo on the official Rusty Nail Dog Menu, plus their owners will take home a $250 Beach Shack/Rusty Nail gift certificate.
