Grab your wallets and your friends! The annual end-of-summer Shop Hop returns to Avalon. The weekend following Labor Day, September 7-9, will host island-wide shopping sales at the local stores and boutiques throughout the Avalon Shopping District.
More than 30 local stores are set to participate in this year’s Shop Hop featuring a variety of discounts and sales up to 70 percent off select items. Browse through items including clothing, accessories, beach gear, home décor and more! Participating stores will also offer refreshments and treats for shoppers to enjoy. This event will run all weekend long during normal store hours.
“The Shop Hop is one of our biggest events in the shoulder season, highlighting our amazing stores and boutiques throughout the shopping district,” says John O’Dea, president of the Avalon Chamber of Commerce. “It’s also a great way for merchants to preview their fall and winter inventory for seasonal and holiday shoppers.”
Take a break from shopping and stop in to Bobby Dee’s Rock’n Chair restaurant, hosting exclusive lunch and cocktail specials throughout the weekend. Sip and dine, while showing off your purchases, and then hit the streets again for more shopping!
