Drink of the Week: Wayne at Yesterday’s Serves a Spicy Fuego Martini

By Erin Drumm

Meet this week’s featured bartender, Ocean City native Wayne Molosky, who makes a delicious fuego martini at Yesterday’s Creekside Tavern.

Wayne went to culinary school and has worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years. He transitioned from the back of the house to the front of the house about 15 years ago. Wayne enjoys being at the front of the house as a bartender because he gets the chance to talk to many different people from all walks of life.

Outside of work, Wayne enjoys going to the beach with his daughter, playing golf, skateboarding, and snowboarding.

Wayne is grateful to live year-round in Ocean City where other people only get to come for vacation.

Yesterday’s Fuego Martini

This week’s drink of the week is the fuego martini, a drink Wayne especially enjoys making. Made with Espolon tequila, triple sec, fresh jalapeño, fresh lime, agave syrup, with a sour spicy salt rim, the fuego martini is a great summer drink. The jalapenos give the drink a spicy, but not overpowering, kick.

Yesterday’s has a newly remodeled dining room and an outdoor deck bar. If you’re looking for a twist on an old favorite,  Yesterday’s fuego martini is a must-try!

Yesterday’s Creekside Tavern is open seven days a week. The tavern offers live music on the weekends and a friendly atmosphere every day of the week! Located just outside Ocean City, Yesterday’s offers great burgers, cocktails, and more! Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Stop by Yesterday’s to try their Fuego Martini, listen to live music, and meet the bartender of the week, Wayne!
