Celebrate Oktoberfest at Rio Station and try this week’s featured drink, a stein of Spaten Oktoberfest Beer!
This year, Rio Station is hosting an authentic Oktoberfest from Thursday, October 1 to Monday, October 5! In past years, Oktoberfest at the Rio was only three days, but this year the fest has been extended for more bier, food, and fun! The festivities kick off on Thursday night with outdoor music with Sage Thomas from 5:30-9 p.m. They will have real Bavarian Biers on tap all weekend, including Hacker Pschorr, Paulaner, and, of course, our featured drink, Spaten Oktoberfest, that you can enjoy out in the Beer Garden. Pair your drinks with authentic home-cooked German food, including German sausage, Wiener Schnitzel, homemade Potato Pancakes, and more. With a German chef in the kitchen and sausages brought in from Riekers Prime Meats, a “one of a kind German Delicatessen” based in Philadelphia, you’re sure to have great food and a great time at this authentic Oktoberfest celebration!
Rio Station is located at 3505 Route 9 in Rio Grande. They are open daily at 8 a.m. for breakfast, serving food until 9 p.m. For more information, call 609-889-2000 or visit www.riostation.com.
