This week we’re taking a break from mixed drinks to feature an incredible beer that supports an amazing cause, the North Shore Summer Wheat from North Shore Bar & Kitchen in North Wildwood.
After months of taste-testing and brewing, North Shore Bar & Kitchen released their first beer, the North Shore Summer Wheat, with the help of Flying Fish Brewing Company. The wheat beer was brewed with flavors of black tea, honey, and lemon to make the perfect summer refreshment for all to enjoy.
The team at North Shore are excited about their first brew, but even more excited to help fund research for D.I.P.G., a type of cancer with a 0% survival rate. Every time you order a Summer Wheat, you’ll receive an incredible beer that supports an incredible cause. $1 from every Summer Wheat sold will be donated to Storm the Heavens, a non-profit established in honor of Philomena Stendardo who lost her to fight against D.I.P.G. in 2017. $1 from every orange crush sold will also be donated to Storm the Heavens to “crush” D.I.P.G. and fund further research.
North Shore and Storm the Heavens have teamed up to “Storm the Shore” all summer long, so stop by North Shore Bar & Kitchen to try the exclusive beer (or an orange crush!) to support the cause. Stop by for Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 4-7 p.m. for drink specials and $1 oysters. Enjoy live music and weekly events, including Sunday night karaoke, Taco Tuesdays, Phillie’s game specials, “celebrity” bartenders, and more.
