The Do The Shore team celebrates National Pet Month with this week’s drink of the week, Dog’s Best Friend from Dogtooth Bar & Grill.
Although it’s hard for a cocktail to be a dog’s best friend, we thought it was only appropriate to feature this drink for the beginning of National Pet Month. But the name wasn’t the only thing that attracted us to this tropical concoction. Made with Captain Morgan Rum, light rum, melon liqueur, triple sec, pineapple juice and crème de banana, the thought of sweet summer is what really attracted us to this Dogtooth original. Every sip is bursting with banana flavor and a hint of pineapple and melon, leading us to daydream about beach days and warm summer nights. We’re almost there, right?
Try Dog’s Best Friend at Dogtooth’s Happy Hour Monday through Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. and Friday 4 to 7 p.m., featuring $1.50 domestic drafts, $2.50 domestic bottles, $3 well drinks and discounted appetizers at the bar.
