Drink of the Week: Bloody Mary

This week’s winning drink was prepared for us by a former bartender of the week at one of Five Mile Island’s year-round watering holes. This family owned and operated pub is best described as affordable, laid-back, and the perfect place to catch the big game. Wake up with an O’Boyle’s original Bloody Mary, our latest drink of the week. Pat, a favorite O’Boyle’s character, makes this Bloody with vodka, Bloody Mary mix, horse radish, Tabasco sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. These savory ingredients are shaken well and poured over ice. The final lemon, lime, and olive garnishes are added to complete this mini meal in a glass. Each Saturday and Sunday, these O’Boyle’s Bloody Mary’s are on super special for just $3 during breakfast hours from 8 to 11 a.m. Rather start your day with a splash of OJ? Mimosas are just $2.50 each during these hours.

Pat invites all Five Mile Island locals to swing by and say hi during O’Boyle’s extended Happy Hour from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Enjoy $2 domestic bottles, $1.50 pints, $3 glasses of wine, and maybe even a few of his jokes. Plus, you can enjoy these same great Happy Hour prices on NFL Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. weekly! Take a seat in front of one of the several flat-screen TVs mounted around the bar’s perimeter and cheer on your favorite team.
