Drink of the Week: Bacon Bourbon Bloody Mary

DrinkoftheWeek

Are you a Bloody Mary fan? A bourbon fan? A bacon fan? If you answered yes, you are going to love this week’s drink of the week, the Bacon Bourbon Bloody Mary from Shamrock Beef & Ale in Wildwood.

Bartender Sara started the drink by dipping the rim of the glass in bacon salt before adding ice. She added Guinness, Ol’ Major Bacon Bourbon, a medium Bloody Mary mix, horseradish, Worchester sauce, Tobasco sauce, and celery seed to the glass. After a few stirs, the drink was ready to be served! The drink is a perfect combination of bacon and bourbon with the classic kick of a Bloody Mary. Whether it’s 11 a.m. or 6 p.m., you’re sure to enjoy this version of your favorite brunch drink!

The Shamrock isn’t just your average pub – it’s a destination and a tradition in Wildwood. Take a look at the lunch and dinner menus and enjoy incredible food, including the Irish favorite Fish & Chips or classic burgers. Or stop by for a drink in the street, which has been closed down due to outdoor dining. In July, and in true Irish fashion, the Shamrock will start a Bloody Mary bar, which features bourbon, tequila, and rum versions of the traditional vodka Bloody Mary. They have also partnered with AC Jokes to bring comedians to Wildwood – something you won’t be able to find anywhere else on the Island.

Shamrock Beef & Ale is located at 3700 Pacific Ave. in Wildwood. For more information about the bar and their upcoming events, visit shamrockbeefale.com or call 609-522-7552.
