For this week’s superior cocktail, we headed to Wildwood Crest’s newest up-and-coming dining destination – Two Mile Restaurant. The Hansen family resurrected the former Crab House building, modernized the restaurant with tons of renovations, and is now proud to present the new Two Mile. Perhaps most striking about the bright, clean, and maritime-inspired interior is Two Mile’s sprawling wrap-around bar. Accented with a gorgeous tile backdrop and acting as the restaurant’s centerpiece, this bar was sure to deliver a drink we wouldn’t soon forget. Bartender Joanna decided that this week’s drink of the week contender would be Two Mile’s “Grapefruit Crush”. A twist on the Crab House’s signature “Orange Crush”, the Grapefruit Crush is made with fresh ruby red grapefruit juice, squeezed right before patrons’ eyes. Ruby Red Absolut, triple sec, and Seven Up complete the Grapefruit Crush.
This cocktail proved to be as refreshing as it sounds, with its tangy, citrus flavor giving a much appreciated, energizing kick. For those of a different drink palate, Two Mile guarantees selections that will delight any and every patron’s senses. They feature a full martini menu, whiskey list, and an extensive wine list and have twenty (both domestic and imported) brews on tap. Take a seat at the bar and grab a quick bite of Two Mile’s “Pub Grub”, including favorites such as nachos, sweet potato waffle fries, and onion rings. Cheers.
