The Race of Gentlemen Vintage Car & Motorcycle Beach Drag Races
Friday, June 8 to Sunday, June 10 at 9 a.m.
Spectators and racers alike will experience a simpler time of when guys were gentlemen and cars were king! 1934 and older, and vintage automobiles and 1947 and older motorcycles will compete in an exhibition style beach race at the water’s edge between Schellenger and Spicer avenues in Wildwood. Fourth Annual Wildwood Beer Fest
Saturday, June 9 at 9 a.m.
Fox Park, East Burk & East Montgomery avenues, Wildwood
A ticket to the fourth annual Wildwood Beer Fest grants you access to over 100 brews, a commemorative beer tasting cup, live bands, unique food truck eats and craft vendors. Beer sampling is unlimited with your ticket; food and merchandise is also available for purchase. Entrance will be permitted only to ticket holders with a valid ID. The festival will be broken up into two separate sessions; festival goers are only permitted to attend one four-hour session. The first session will be held on Saturday from noon-4 p.m., followed by session two from 6-10 p.m. For tickets and more information, visit

40th Anniversary Celebration at Cape May County Zoo

The public is invited to join this 40th anniversary celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and enjoy a day filled with festivities. Planned after the 11 a.m. ceremony will be a Keeper Talk at 11:30 a.m., introducing the newest members of the zoo’s primate families, the Gibbon apes. Award-winning entertainer Chad Juros will perform a magic show at 12 noon, followed by the announcement of the baby boy giraffe’s new name as the naming contest ends the day prior. Other highlights throughout the day include live music, inflatable bounce houses, crafts, face painting, children’s rides and surprise character appearances. For more information, visit
