The City of Cape May is excited to again host free evening outdoor concerts in Cape May. Each concert will offer excellent entertainment in a family-friendly atmosphere. July 5, Chester County Concert Band; Saturday, July 6, America’s Sweethearts; Sunday, July 7, Cape May County String Band; Monday, July 8, Sweet Adelines. 21st Annual Whale of a Day Family Festival

The Property Owners Association of Cape May Beach (Historic Townbank Inc.) announces once again our popular summer festival, ‘Whale of a Day,’ held rain or shine from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This very special multi-block family day features over 120 vendor dealers including many types of food and refreshments, antiques, arts and crafts, a Fun Zone for the kids, live music from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside on the covered deck, a history display and bake sale (get there early!) inside the Clubhouse, our famous 60+ assorted basket raffles and more. 64th Annual Bazaar of the Cape May Point Civic Club

The 64th Annual Bazaar of the Cape May Point Civic Club is a summertime highlight featuring food, books, crafts, baked goods and white elephant items as well as silent auction treasures. Raffle tickets for restaurant certificates or gift baskets are also available. There will be children’s games and face painting available for the kids.  Please bring a shopping bag! All profits donated to local charities and community programs.


Cape May Independence Day Parade

The City of Cape May will stage its annual Independence Parade on Saturday, July 6, beginning at 1 p.m.  Line-up is at noon on New Jersey and Philadelphia Avenues. The parade route is on Beach Avenue from Philadelphia Avenue to Patterson Avenue with the reviewing stand near Convention Hall. The parade is an annual event to honor all of our veterans. Decorated bicycles, antique automobiles, and all community entries are welcome to participate in the Independence Parade.
