4-H Fair

Mark your calendar for the 2018 Cape May County 4-H Fair July 19-21. Admission is free! Some returning events include a color run, a children’s pet show, livestock and horse shows, a Market Animal Auction, bouncy houses, and a Maker Space. The Irma McVey Memorial Herb Garden will be open for touch, taste and smell tours, plus there will be a number of “How To” Tent Talks taking place throughout the fair. New entertainment this year includes Cowboy Larry and Brave Beth, and Jet Weston and His Atomic Ranch Hands. Children are invited to attend Peter Rabbit’s Harvest Party, a new event on Friday night. Morey’s Piers Beach Sports Weekend
Saturday, July 21 and Sunday, July 22 at 9 a.m.
Wildwood Beach
Morey’s Piers will host the Sticks in the Sand Beach Hockey Tournament and the Sand Slam Beach Lacrosse Tournament on the Wildwood Beach between Schellenger and Juniper avenues. Teams will compete on the beaches of the Wildwoods and enjoy the water parks during the day and the famous Wildwood Boardwalk and amusements in the evening. Christmas in July Festival
Sunday, July 22 at 6 p.m.
Sunset Lake, New Jersey Avenue from Atlanta to Miami avenues, Wildwood Crest
The event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., overlooking the bay at Sunset Lake. The Christmas in July Festival will include live Christmas-themed, pop and rock musical performances with the Mango Men, a holiday-themed candy lane with activities for children, and much more. The event will also include a visit from Santa Claus, who will be on hand for free family photographs overlooking the bay. The Sunset Lake area will also be decorated for the holiday season.
