25th Annual Sophisticated Productions Nationals Dance Competition

Sophisticated Productions returns to the Wildwoods Convention Center for the 25th Anniversary National Dance Competition. The six-day event takes place Sunday, July 14 through Friday, July 19 with awe-inspiring performances from talented young dancers. The dance competitions will feature solos, duets, trios, small groups, large groups, lines and productions ranging from amateur to experienced dancers from all over the country. Cape May County 4-H Fair
Continues Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20, at 10 a.m.,

Mark your calendar for the 2019 Cape May County 4-H Fair July 18-20. Admission is FREE! Some returning events include a children’s pet show – open to all, livestock and horse shows, a Market Animal Auction, bouncy houses, and a Maker Space that combines elements of innovation, do-it-yourself skills, crafts, technology, and drones. Enjoy old fair favorites, such as Sawdogs Chainsaw Artist Matt Hass, the Jersey Cape Cruisers Antique Car Show, 4-H project exhibits, vendors with delicious foods and interesting items, and live local entertainment. The famous Chicken Bar-B-Que begins at 5 p.m. nightly. Get your tickets beginning at 4 p.m. each evening before they are sold out, and enjoy your dinner in the shade while listening to live entertainment on the fairgrounds’ Carol and Ralph Porch 4-H Main Stage. The City of Cape May is excited to again host free evening outdoor concerts in Cape May. Each concert will offer excellent entertainment in a family-friendly atmosphere. 56th Annual Captain Kidd Treasure Hunt

The adventurous Captain Kidd has set sail for Historic Cape May for the 56th Annual Cape May Captain Kidd Treasure Hunt to be held on the beaches of the nation’s oldest seashore resort. Youngsters are invited to rendezvous with Captain Will Kidd on the Cape May Promenade in front of Cape May Convention Hall on Sunday, July 21 at 1 p.m. Lucky treasure seekers will follow Captain Kidd to his secret site in search of the elusive buried treasure.
