Join in on the fun at the annual Philadelphia 76ers Summer Shore Tour! Come out to Pig Dog Beach Bar BQ on August 17 from 12 to 3 p.m. for a fun and free family event. There will be fun in the sun activities and games featuring appearances by 76ers players and alumni. The location is set to feature plenty of 76ers branding, including a massive inflatable replica of the team’s Ballin’ Ben mascot. Kiwanis Club Chicken BBQ and Beer Fundraiser

The Kiwanis Club of Cape May is having their 3rd annual Chicken BBQ and Beer fundraiser at the VFW on Cape May on Saturday, August 17 from 5 to 8 p.m.  Chef Shriver will be serving famous chicken BBQ, pulled pork, corn bread, salads and desserts.  There will be quality local baskets and gift certificates, plus you can break out your dancing shoes and dance to DJ Tony Genaro.   Tickets for adults are $25. Stone Harbor Festival of Lights Boat Parade

Join in on the fun at the Festival of Lights Boat Parade in Stone Harbor on Saturday, August 17. The theme of the boat parade this year is “Lights of Broadway.” The Boat parade begins at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor, then heads south around Paradise Basin and Sanctuary Basin. Boats will enter Carnival Bay, then Pleasure Bay. The boats continue north into Stone Harbor basin, followed by Shelter Haven, Snug Harbor, South and North Basins. Boats will return south and end back at YCSH where judging occurs on deck followed by the after-party. Competition categories include Best Dock Décor, Best Boat Décor, and Best Costume. Pre-registration for boaters required and can be done online at www.ycsh.org.

Join in on the fun at the Wildwood Crest Sunset Food Truck and Movie Night on Sunday, August 18 from 5 to 9 p.m. The festival will take place at Sunset Lake at Louisville and New Jersey Avenues. There will be gourmet food trucks and movie showing on the lake at 7 p.m. Get there early to enjoy delicious selections from food trucks from the tri-state area before you take your beach chairs or blankets down by the lake.
