Middle Township’s Restaurant Week is a six-day promotion that features unique dining options in Middle Township and the surrounding area. Participating restaurants will offer diners discounts on full course menus while smaller eating establishments will offer discounted specials Sept. 23-28. Chefs will prepare delicious menus at mouthwatering prices! All costs are exclusive of tax, beverages and gratuity. No tickets or special passes are needed. First Annual MudHen Brewing Co. Oktoberfest

MudHen Brewing Co. will extend the season and host the First Annual MudHen Oktoberfest! A heaping helping of Olde World Italy will be served with amore and plenty of green, white and red during the 14th Annual Olde Time Italian Festival! The FREE two-day festival celebrates Italian culture and heritage with a Procession of the Saints, Italian crafts, authentic Italian cuisine, games for the little ones, a spaghetti eating contest and continuous FREE live entertainment. ‘Monsters on the Beach’ Monster Truck Races

The thrill and exhilaration of monster truck racing comes to the Wildwoods’ award-winning beaches! The Monster Truck Show will feature the country’s biggest trucks squaring off on a custom beach race course. Friday night features a free Monster Mash, a family-friendly monster truck block party, from 6-9 p.m. Saturday features races at 1-7 p.m., including exciting intermission entertainment. Sunday features a final deciding race at 1 p.m., after which the 2018 “BEAST OF THE BEACH” will be named. Morey’s Piers Oktoberfest

This fall, Oktoberfest takes over Morey’s Piers with German-themed revelry, live entertainment, a kids “Rootbier Garten” activity area and much more. Wilhelm’s Bier Garten, the home of Oktoberfest, will serve ice-cold German draft beer along with local and domestic imports and wine. Visitors can feast on German fare aplenty. The kid’s zone with a “Rootbier Garten” will include a pumpkin and cookie decorating station. The public is invited to come to the 4th Annual Cape May County 4-H Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch, hosted by the Cape May County Board of Agriculture and the 4-H Livestock Program. The event is both family and wallet friendly with many games and activities. Admission is $5; children two and under are free, and there is a discount for larger family groups. Annual Miss Cape May County and Miss Cape Resort Pageant

The Cape Scholarship Foundation will be holding its annual Miss Cape May County and Miss Cape Resort Pageant. Local contestants will compete for scholarship awards and the chance to represent our area throughout the year. This year’s pageant theme is “Superheroes! From the Cape to the Crown!” Tickets are $20 at the door.
