Porsche Boardwalk Reunion

Porsches will be displayed from 11:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on the Boardwalk from 6th Street to 14th Street. Over 350 Porsches of all models and years between 1954 and 2021 are expected. John R. Elliott Hero Walk & 1-Mile Fun Run

The HERO Fun Run will take place at 10:00 a.m. Hero ceremonies are at 10:30 a.m. The HERO Walk along the Ocean City boardwalk commences at 11 a.m. We raise awareness of the importance of sober designated drivers. “Howl-O-Ween” Parade

Hosted by the Humane Society of Ocean City, the first annual “Howl-O-Ween” Parade and dog costume contest is for people and dogs of all ages. Contestants are encouraged to dress themselves and their pooch in zany, fun Halloween costumes in the spirit of the season. HSOC’s “Pet of the Year” will be the event’s Grand Marshal.

OC Dog Day
Saturday, October 23, 2021 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Leashed dogs will be permitted on the boardwalk between these times. All are welcome and encouraged to bring their favorite furry canine friend. Activities for the day include dog-specific vendors at the Music Pier, photo-op stations on the Boardwalk, and the Humane Society of Ocean City’s “Pet of the Year” Announcement. Boo at the ZOO, the “Creepy Jeepy” Contest

The Cape May Zoo for their annual Boo at the Zoo event will be featuring tons of fun for the entire family. Avalon Dune Grass Planting

Volunteer to assist in planting dune grass and helping to keep the beaches of Avalon safe from storms! Volunteers are asked to meet at Avalon Community Hall for a short demonstration, and a light lunch will be provided after planting. (Rain date Oct. 24)
Halloween Parade & Dance Party

North Wildwood Trunk-or-Treat Halloween Block Party

The annual family fun event! Vehicle check-in is at 4:30 p.m., event is 5:30 – 7 p.m. Held along Olde NJ Avenue in North Wildwood. Music, Magic, Balloon Twisting and more! Families are encouraged to bring their vehicles decorated for Halloween. Children will come in costume and visit each car where families will provide treats from the trunks of their cars. There will be no judging of the children’s costumes, but prizes will be awarded to the best decorated vehicles. Registration is free and forms are available at 900 Central Avenue in North Wildwood or at City Hall. All vehicles participating in the event must be registered.
