Children’s Story Hour runs through Nov. 30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays (except Thanksgiving) at 10:30 a.m. at the Historic Cold Spring Village Welcome Center. This free interactive program includes music, a story and craft centered around Cape May Country’s history. This is a perfect program for pre-K through kindergarten! This program is made possible in part by a re-grant administered by the Cape May County Culture and Heritage Commission, from funds granted by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. 2017 Winter WonderFEST (Lewes Terminal)

Take a ferry ride to the winter carnival at the Lewes Ferry Terminal with ice skating, amusement rides, crafts and activities at Santa’s Workshop. The Ferry offers shuttles to the Spectacular Light Show in Cape Henlopen State Park! The Christmas Village returns to the Lewes Terminal this holiday season and it’s bigger and brighter! Packed with indoor & outdoor fun for the whole family, the Christmas Village includes the Visit Delaware Ice Rink, five amusement rides, Santa’s Workshop, games, pictures with Mr. & Mrs. Claus, nightly entertainment and new this year, the Lodge, a heated tent serving bites & beverages. The festival runs from Nov. 17 to Dec. 31, Friday through Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. (until 10 p.m. on Saturdays), with additional dates the week after Christmas. No parking or entrance fees at the Village!

Spirit Brands American Rec and School Cheerleading Championships

The championships will take place at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cheerleading events will be open to all recreation and school programs that are members of the American Recreation and School Cheer Association.
