Family-Friendly Fantasy Adventure Fest

Saturday May 22 – 23, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm

This will be an outdoor attraction in Historic Smithville, NJ on Saturday, May 22nd and Sunday, May 23rd. Matinee performances will be at 1 PM and 4:30 PM with an evening show at 8:30 PM on Saturday (shoppes are closed for the 8:30 show). On Sunday, there will be a matinee performance at 1PM. Gymnastics Championships at the Wildwoods Convention Center 

May 29-30 2021

Talented athletes will compete on the floor, balance beam, uneven bars and vault. The competitions will be choreographed to music and prizes will be awarded to the top finishers. The Convention Center will abide by the New Jersey State Department of Health’s guidance for sports activities mandating temperature checks for all participants, coaches and officials, masking for everyone except during actual competition and safe distancing practices. Wildwoods International Kite Festival

May 28, 2021 – May 31, 2021 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm *Hours Vary

Festivities begin with a Friday night social via the local kite club and the 9:00pm illuminated night kite fly. Saturday includes the silent and loud auctions (open to all) and Saturday and Sunday include the flying of large inflatable kites, sport kite demo, team flying, as well as family games. Monday features the World Indoor Kite exhibition inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. FREE to spectators. Stone Harbor Beach Opening Ceremony & Color Run

Join Stone Harbor in officially opening the beach for the summer with a Color Fun Run. This non-timed event is open to all ages, and travels north to 82nd Street and back to 95th Street. Be one of the first 200 people to register to receive a free T-shirt, and the many color stations along the way will help to decorate it! Participants are encouraged to dress up, and prizes will be awarded for the most patriotic costumes. The traditional beach opening ceremony with Stone Harbor Mayor Judith Davies-Dunhour and the Beach Patrol Captain will take place after the race. Wildwood Farmers Market

The Farmers Market will open for the season on Saturday, May 29th at 8 am and will be held every Saturday, through Labor Day weekend, from 8 am until 12:30 pm. Extending from Byrne Plaza, at 3400 Pacific Avenue, to 3501 Pacific Avenue, the market will encompass the 3 Pacific Avenue blocks between Oak and Schellenger Avenues, allowing the vendors to be spaced out for plenty of social distancing room.

Stone Harbor Farmers Market

Go on a “Bug Girl” Story Walk

Visit Ocean City Public Library’s StoryWalk ® at Wesley Park (Lake Memorial Park, located at 407 Wesley Ave, OC).  Walk around the park while reading the story “Bug Girl” by Sophia Spencer. Our StoryWalk ® will be displayed until May 31st.  Everyone who completes and submits this form will be entered for a special family prize!
