Shaken and Stirred Chopped Bartender Competition

See who will be crowned “Best Local Bartender” at the 2nd Annual Shaken and Stirred Chopped Bartender competition! The competition kicks off on Thursday, March 12 at 7 p.m. where Matt Danze from The Mad Batter Restaurant and Bar At The Carroll Villa Hotel, Heather Gellura from Hemingway’s Cape May and Jackie Coombs from Red Brick Ale House & Grille will compete in the first round. Contestants will be given a mystery box of ingredients and will compete to see who can make the best cocktail in 5 minutes. The West Cape May Environmental Commission hosts a Free Pizza & Family Movie Night at the West Cape May Borough Hall from 6-8 p.m. on March 13. Join your neighbors, friends and family for a humorous, adventurous movie with a friendly environmental message of the importance of preserving habitat for endangered species. The film stars three young kids who take action to protect the endangered wildlife in their neighborhood by saving their natural habitat from development. Get ready to roll at Cape May Convention Hall with winter roller skating! There will be skating on Saturday, Mar. 14, and Sunday, Mar. 15. Guests may bring their own standard or in-line skates or they can rent them from our facility. The admission fee for Open Skate is $5 per person. Skate rental is $2 for traditional skates and $4 for in-line skates. Admission for non-skaters during Open Skate is $2. Skaters can take a break from the rink and enjoy soft drinks, water, and light snacks at the concession stand.
