East Coast Music Hall of Fame Gala

The first annual East Coast Music Hall of Fame Awards Gala will take place at the Wildwood Convention Center in Wildwood on Wednesday, June 5 at 6 p.m. They will be inducting 16 lifetime achievement awards and 14 legend awards. There will be performances by The Brooklyn Bride, The Duprees, The Skyliners and more!

St. Peter’s Presents Free Choir & Handbell Concert

St. Peters United Methodist Church, 501 East 8th Street, Ocean City

The Youth Singers, Chorale and Celebration Ringers from First United Methodist Church in Colorado Springs Colorado, will perform at St. Peter’s UMC in Ocean City on Friday, June 7th at 7:30 p.m.Currently on a 9-day tour of the East coast, the 27 member ensemble of junior high and high school students is under the direction of Rev. Steve Harter, Minister of Music and Arts at FUMC. The Youth Singers will sing selections by noted church music composers such as Allen Pote, Craig Courtney, and John Rutter. Of particular note is the piece “The Plans I Have for You”, a commissioned anthem by Allen Pote commemorating the 40th anniversary of youth touring choirs from FUMC.

Admission to the 90-minute concert is free and tickets are not required. Seating is on a first-come, first served basis. A freewill offering will be received.

Fifth Annual Wildwood Beer Fest
Saturday, June 8 at 12 p.m.
Fox Park, E. Burk & Ocean Avenues, Wildwood

A ticket to the fifth annual Wildwood Beer Fest grants you access to over 100 brews, a commemorative beer tasting cup, live bands, unique food truck eats and craft vendors. Beer sampling is unlimited with your ticket; food and merchandise is also available for purchase. Entrance will be permitted only to ticket holders with a valid ID. The festival will be broken up into two separate sessions; festival goers are only permitted to attend one four-hour session. Avalon Garden Club Flower Show

The 37th Annual Avalon Garden Club Flower Show will be held on from noon to 4 p.m. at Avalon Community Hall. The theme for the Flower Show is “Love is a Many Splendored Thing,” inspired by the idea that is that love is magnificent, beautiful, and takes many forms. Admission is free.  Donations are welcome.

American Legion Convention and Parade

The American Legion Convention and Parade will take place at the Wildwoods Convention Center. This yearly convention of the New Jersey State American Legion takes place from Tuesday, June 11 to Saturday June 15.
