Youth and adult soccer teams from all over the East Coast will compete in a barefoot soccer tournament right on the Wildwoods’ Beach on Saturday and Sunday. Held on the beautiful beaches of Wildwood between Schellenger and Spencer avenues, FootGolf is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, combining the two popular sports of soccer and golf. The main goal of FootGolf is to kick a soccer ball into a hole with the fewest number of kicks possible. Since the game will be taking place on the beach, each hole is designed from sand and athletes will use soccer balls on a sand golf course with 21-inch diameter cups.
