National Night Out 

Tuesday, August 2  

Police departments in many towns, including Avalon, Wildwood Crest, Middle Township, Sea Isle City, and Cape May will hold another National Night Out event with fun activities for the kids, tours of fire and rescue and municipal trucks, music, and more! Check out our local municipal websites for information about your town’s National Night Out.  

Cruella on the Cape May Beach 

Thursday, August 4 at 8-10:30 p.m. 

Gurney Street Beach, Cape May next to Convention Hall 

Kick back and relax with Cruella on Gurney Street Beach! Bring a blanket or beach chair to have somewhere comfy to sit! The showing will begin at dusk. 

Ocean City Boardwalk Arts Show  

August 5 – 7, Friday Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. / Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  

Between 7th and 11th streets 

There will be more than 50 artists from New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New York with works in oils, acrylics, watercolor, mixed media as well as photography  and jewelry.   

Santa’s Fish Fry and Beer Garden  

Saturday, August 6th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Come join fellow parade supporters in enjoying a delicious Fish Fry and refreshing Beer Garden, while listening to live music from some of our favorite local musicians. This event is family friendly! 

Praise in the Park: Free Christian Music Festival

Saturday, August 6th

Cape May County Park & Zoo, 707 Route 9 North

Praise in the Park is an outdoor Christian Music Festival in South Jersey featuring Christian musicians, speakers, Blow up Bouncers, Face Painting, Sno-Cones and much more.

This year will feature Grammy nominated, Dove Award-winning Building 429, and JJ weeks. Building 429 has had multiple hit singles and played for millions of fans in sold-out venues internationally.

National Lighthouse Day  

Saturday, August 7th from 2 to 4 p.m.  

Hereford Inlet Lighthouse, 111 North Central Avenue, North Wildwood 

This day will mark the 233rd anniversary of the signing of the 1789 Lighthouse Act. The ceremony is from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. The New Jersey Lighthouse Society will provide games and surprises for all children. The lighthouse will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., as always, admission is free, and donations are accepted.   

Stone Harbor Family Fun Night 

Monday, August 8th from 6 to 6:45 p.m.  

Shuffleboard Courts, 120 97th St, Stone Harbor 

Join the borough for story time, singalongs, meet and greets, and more. This week’s event brings out the “enchanted ice queen and snowman  

19th Ocean City Baby Parade 

Thursday, August 11 at 10:30 a.m.  

6th Street to 12th Street on the Boardwalk 

Registration is now open! As part of a tradition that dates back to 1929, the city crowns a teen “Queen Infanta” to preside over the Baby Parade. Registration is now open to anybody who would like to compete for this crown.

Peach Festival

Free Bay Atlantic Symphony Concert: The Birds and the Bees

From wasps to birds, this annual concert literally soars! Led by Music Director Jed Gaylin, the Bay Atlantic Symphony is excited to return for a performance featuring Stravinsky, Respighi, George Avila and more. Tickets are not required.
