Ghosts of the Lighthouse Trolley Tour
Friday, April 20 at 7:45 p.m.
Ocean Street Trolley Stop, Cape May
A trolley tour through parts of West Cape May to the Lighthouse in Cape May Point State Park, with tales of ghostly activity along the way. Participants will be met at the lighthouse by a costumed Lighthouse Keeper who will relate a ghostly tale inside with time available to climb. Earth Day Celebration

The day will start off with a bang with a 5K Earth Day Race and 1 Mile Fun Run. The pre-registration donation of $20, or $25 the day of the race, will benefit the Cape May County Park and Zoo Trust Fund. In addition to the race, live music, children’s storytime, inflatable obstacle course & slide, an interactive drum circle, hands-on educational exhibits, free entertainment, a naturalist hike, food and crafts are all on the agenda. ECC Shore Show Cheerleading Down

Spirit Brands hosts an annual cheerleading competition in the Wildwoods Convention Center. All teams will compete on a 54′ by 42′ spring floor between 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Performances will be choreographed to music and sound effects, and winning teams will be awarded prizes. Grand Lighthouse Cruise

Come aboard the Cape May Whale Watcher to view and photograph seven historic lighthouses of the late 19th and early part of the 20th centuries. Most of these lighthouses stand on pedestals out of sight of land and are still operational. Each five-hour cruise includes narration on the history of each lighthouse and more. Includes continental breakfast buffet and Captain’s Lunch buffet. A cash bar is available. $95 for adults and $75 for children (ages 7-12). Spring in Tuckahoe Craftsmen & Home Event

The third annual Spring in Tuckahoe Craftsmen & Home Event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. This two-day event will feature a gathering of artists and craftsmen offering spring handmade items. Volunteers in Medicine Annual 5K Run/Walk

Volunteers in Medicine of South Jersey (VIM) will host their annual 5K Run-Walk at 9 a.m. on April 22 at The Promenade in Sea Isle City. This event is once again being sponsored by the generous members of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 602. Proceeds from the 5K Run-Walk will benefit VIM’s free clinic on Route 9 in Cape May Court House, where uninsured county residents receive much-needed health care and medical assistance.
