Sea Isle City Girls Weekend

With nearly 40 businesses offering special discounts and promotions throughout the weekend, the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization invites you to eat, drink, shop and indulge in specials throughout town. All participating businesses will be easily identified by the colorful Girls Weekend flag displayed on their storefronts. All Girls Weekend attendees are reminded to please practice social distancing and mask up to ensure everyone’s safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ocean City Volunteers

Volunteers from the Ocean City Environmental Commission and the Ocean City High School Environmental Club will plant beach plum plants in the dunes near 57th Street in Ocean City starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021. Beach plums are native to the area and their roots spread to help stabilize and strengthen dune systems. Beach plum cuttings will be provided by Jalma Farms of Ocean View. Alma George will provide instructions on how to plant them and an overview of their benefits. All volunteers will wear face masks and observe social distancing guidelines. Cape May Lewes Ferry Drive in Movie Night

Cape May County Education Association presents a FREE Family Movie Night at the Cape May Lewes Ferry featuring The Iron Giant. Watch the movie from the comfort of your vehicle in a Covid-safe family environment.

Use our map to explore the grounds and find the answers to questions about the Physick family and life in Victorian times on this educational scavenger hunt. Turn in your answer sheet at the Carriage House Museum Shop and receive a prize! Available daily at the Hill House office or the Carriage House Visitors Center at the Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St. and at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth.

Creature Feature and Craft

Watch this Virtual Creature Feature online and then pop in for a visit to get up close and personal with a host of live animals including turtles, crabs, mollusks, horseshoe crabs, or the popular animals of Finding Nemo. After the presentation, grab your very own take-and-make craft for home! All virtual presentations are available for viewing on the Aquarium Bytes section of our Virtual Wetlands Experience portal on our website.
