The Fast and the Furriest 5k Turkey Trot and One Mile Fun Run
Thursday, November 27 from 7-10 a.m.
Where: Music Pier at Moorlyn Terrace and Boardwalk, Ocean City
A 5k run/walk Thanksgiving morning and 1 mile kids fun run benefits the Ocean City Humane Society. Pre-register on line at www.active.com. Sea Isle City Holiday Extravaganza
Friday, November 28th and Saturday, November 29th from 12-4.
Where: Excursion Park JFK Blvd and Pleasure Avenue, Sea Isle City
This annual Holiday Extravaganza will kick-off the Holiday Season in grand style with a parade, tree lighting, ice skating, caroling, refreshments and a visit from Santa Claus.

Discover the wonders of the wetlands at Wetland Wonderland! As the season changes, hibernation, adaptation and migration are just a few ways the animals on the marsh prepare for winter. Throughout the day, we will have family fun activities including indoor and outdoor scavenger hunts, special creature features on winter survival strategies, aquarium feedings and extended teaching tank interactions, special appearances by Scute, winter activities, crafts, games and more!
Turkey Trot Surf Contest
Saturday, November 29 from 8:30-1:30 p.m.
Where: The beach 7th Street, Ocean City
9am at 7th Street Beach. No Wave Date November 30th. Divisions for 13 & Under, Jr. Men 14-18; Men 19-30; Masters 30 & Over; Longboard Open and Women’s Open. Awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each category plus Wave of the day trophy. Fee $10 per person. Sign up online thru 11/25 at 4pm at www.ocnj.us/recreation under recreation activities.
