Start your engines and cruise on down to the Wildwoods for one of the most exciting car enthusiast weekends at the Jersey Shore. It’s the 10th Annual Classic Car Auction and the 23rd Annual Boardwalk Classic Car Show the weekend of September 22-25, hosted by Wildwood Motor Events and sponsored by the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority.
The 10th Annual Classic Car Auction kicks off the weekend on Thursday, September 22 at the Wildwoods Convention Center, where an impressive and intriguing variety of luxury and exotic cars, muscle cars and classic cars still in existence today will be on display for previewing and auctioning.
The classic cars for the auction can be previewed inside the Oceanfront Arena at the Wildwoods Convention Center on Thursday, September 22 from 3 to 7 p.m. and again on Friday, September 23 from 12 to 5 p.m. Auctioning of these vehicles to the highest bidders will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday, September 23 and again on Saturday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. by the Nationally Renowned Adcock Family.
Vendors offering memorabilia, car collectibles, parts and accessories will be on-hand during the preview and auction, and admission is FREE to spectators.
The 23rd Annual Boardwalk Classic Car Show will be set in motion on Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The weekend will take spectators back in time to experience the craftsmanship and beauty of hundreds of restored classic cars displayed on the world-famous Wildwoods Boardwalk.
An awards ceremony will take place inside the Wildwoods Convention Center on Sunday, September 25 beginning at 9 a.m. where prizes will be awarded to the Top 40 cars and one car will be selected as Best in Show. Admission to the Car Show is FREE to spectators.
These events bring thousands of visitors to the Wildwoods each year and are among the most anticipated events of the fall tourism season.
