The third annual Create in the Crest Arts Festival, an event designed to showcase various types of art, will be held Saturday, June 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Centennial Park in Wildwood Crest.
Hosted by the Wildwood Crest Creative Arts Council, the Create in the Crest Arts Festival will feature local artists, entrepreneurs, musicians, and other creators displaying, selling, and teaching their art. Admission to the Create in the Crest Arts Festival is free.
Attendees will have the opportunity to not only experience various types of art but also learn how to create art from some of the artists themselves via short free classes and workshops. This family-friendly event is perfect for the whole family to spark some creativity and express themselves through various forms of art. The event will also feature live music for an upbeat atmosphere that sparks creativity through audible art.
The Create in the Crest Arts Festival’s vendors include handmade arts and crafts, handmade jewelry, pottery, hand-painted floral designs, sea glass art, silk screening, wooden enamel art and more. Free classes will be available in a variety of art forms. Registration for art classes will take place on the day of the event.
Vendors Needed!
Art vendors can still register for the event. The vendor fee is $60, although the vendor fee is waived if the artist agrees to teach a 30-minute class in relation to his or her craft.
