CORRECTION: Sea Isle Library Hosts Famous Children’s Author Dan Santat 

What: A free afternoon presentation from an award-winning children’s author 

When: Monday, May 20 at 6 p.m. 

Where: Sea Isle City Library 

On Monday, May 20th, the Cape May County Library will host Dan Santat, an award-winning children’s author and illustrator. He will talk about his books, his work, his journey, and his reading life. He will also discuss his writing and illustrating processes and give an art demonstration. He has written “The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend” a Caldecott Medal winner. He has two New York Times bestsellers with “Are We There Yet?” and “After the Fall (How Humpty Dumpty Got Back Up Again)”. His latest works include bestselling graphic novels: “The Aquanaut” and “A First Time for Everything”.  

The event will be held in the Public Meeting Room at the Sea Isle City branch. It will begin at 6 PM. Registration is not required. All children in attendance will have the opportunity to choose a free book written by Dan and to get that book signed.
