Come to Cape May for Harvest Brew Fest Sept. 16

CAPE MAY – Come to the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St. this fall for the third annual Harvest Brew Fest, an event celebrating local food, local wine, local beer, local spirits, local artisans and local talent, on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission to the grounds is free and free parking is available at the Cape May Elementary School, 921 Lafayette St. A free trolley shuttle will operate from the Washington Street Mall Information Booth at Ocean Street to the estate throughout the day. There will be a charge for food, beverages and some activities. Commemorative t-shirts will be available.

Enjoy great food perfect for an autumn day, with offerings from local food truck vendors: bacon on a stick from Gaiss’ Market, crepes from Crespella, lobster rolls and grilled cheese from Eat Well, hamburgers and veggie burgers from Wahlburgers On Wheels, empanadas from Empanada Mama’s, barbecue from Joe Battle and roast beef from Nick’s Roast Beef.

Wash down these delicious foods with craft beer from local and regional breweries in the beer garden on the estate lawn. Other adult beverages will be available for purchase, as will non-alcoholic beverages.

Musicians will perform on an outdoor stage featuring homegrown talent including: The Capers, Loud N Klear, Heavee Levee and Love Me Dudes.

Family-friendly events are a big part of the day. Kids will enjoy the Give & Take Jugglers, a bubble pond, face painting and pumpkin painting as part of the fun.
