CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – A Middle Township holiday tradition will continue when Linda Gentille & the Jersey Shore Pops return to the PAC with their annual holiday show on Saturday, December 10 at 3 p.m. The show, “Christmas with the Pops,” will feature Soprano Jacklyn Buckingham and other guest stars.
Jacklyn Buckingham made her debut with the Pops in 2010 and was such a huge success that they made her the first official regular guest vocalist for the orchestra. Buckingham is a graduate of Montclair State University with a B.A. in Theater and a minor in Musical Theater. She has performed in numerous musicals including “Les Miserables,” “The Mystery of Edwin Drood,” “The World Goes Round” and “Cabaret.” Buckingham has become one of the most popular guest vocalists with the orchestra over the past three years.
Also starring in the show will be Sounds of the Season, a quartet formed with men who hail from the local area. They are members of the Cape Harmonaires based in Cape May Court House, which is a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS). Collectively its members have over 100 years of singing experience and many championships between them. This four-part a capella ensemble features Cal Johnson – Tenor, Bob Rullo – Lead, Don Young Sr. – Baritone and Jerry Davis – Bass.
