Offering excellent contemporary dishes, a beautiful waterfront view, and the best of the best in live entertainment, Lighthouse Pointe Waterfront Restaurant and Bar has remained a triple threat in Jersey Shore fine dining since its inaugural days. After 22 years in the Wildwood waterfront business, Lighthouse Pointe has perfected its diverse menu and been host to big name stars and performers.
Grab a pre-dinner cocktail at the renowned dockside bar and enjoy the view as the boats of the harbor dock for the day. For a casual and quick meal, take a seat at Lighthouse Pointe’s outdoor raw bar and grill featuring nightly food specials including Wednesday night’s All You Can Eat Snow Crabs deal from 5 to 9 p.m. These fresh raw bar options are made even more enjoyable by the live nightly “Deckertainment” that is characteristic of Lighthouse Pointe.
The term “deckertainment” was created specifically for Lighthouse Pointe. Located on the picturesque Intercoastal Waterway, the sprawling deck has long been home to beautiful Jersey Shore sunset views. But what set it apart from other waterfront counterparts has always been the big-name entertainers who have graced its stage. The Sensational Soul Cruisers hit the stage at the Pointe on August 4, 1996, and have since become one of the nation’s most renowned horn groups. “The Man of a Thousand Voices”, Joe Conklin himself, cracked up Lighthouse Pointe crowds on August 2, 1996. On Memorial Day of 1995, rock god Sir Rod Stewart rocked the Lighthouse Pointe stage.
Nowadays, the Deckertainment line-up remains top-notch. Jerry Blavat keeps crowds clapping their hands on Thursday nights. The local Sindi Raymond Band gets the deck dancing every Friday at 7 p.m. Sir Rod himself makes a triumphant return to the deck stage on August 3rd. Most Saturday nights, enjoy the music of Juicy beginning at 4 p.m.
For a refined yet relaxed dining experience, head into Lighthouse Pointe’s indoor dining room. The Dining Room at the Pointe truly offers a dish for every palate including Certified Angus Prime Rib, Stuffed Filet Mignon, Steak Au Poivre, Sautéed Shrimp, and Crab Imperial like none other. The indoor bar offers frozen drinks and a fine selection of martinis including the popular Key Lime Cocktail. For a great meal at an even better value, try the “Buy One Get One Free” early bird special daily from 4 to 5 p.m. Be sure to also ask about Lighthouse Pointe’s daily Blackboard Specials as well.
The King himself makes a Dining Room appearance weekly on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. Dinner with Elvis includes a delicious dish and direct interaction with performer Johnny Tocco. For those with on-stage hopes, prepare yourselves. Tocco selects back-up dancers for his Vegas act and dresses them the part in feather boas.
Over its entertainment-filled career, Lighthouse Pointe has been frequented by big-name celebrities including Kevin Bacon, Davy Jones, Soupy Sales, Hurricane Schwartz, Sally Star, Harry Kalas, Bernie Parent, Rick McLeish, Tom Lamaine, Angelo Cataldi, and Dom Irrera. Discover for yourself what has brought these stars plus thousands of Jersey Shore visitors to the Pointe’s tucked away, waterfront location.
