THE WILDWOODS – Spirit Brands returns to the Wildwoods Convention Center for two cheerleading competitions, with hundreds of teams bringing their dance moves, pom-poms and spirit to compete on Sunday, Nov. 5 and again on Sunday, Nov. 19.
On Sunday, Nov. 5, the Spirit Brands Island Championship will include recreation, high school, collegiate, all-star and open divisions. Competitions will be held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
On Sunday, Nov. 19, the ARSC Rec and School U.S. Finals will be open to all recreational centers and school programs that are members of the American Recreation and School Cheer Association. Competitions will be held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
All competing teams in each event will perform on a 54’ by 42’ spring floor and will try to impress the crowd and win the judges’ votes. All performances will be choreographed to music and sound effects, and the top chosen winning teams will be awarded prizes.
All competitions will take place inside the Wildwoods Convention Center’s Oceanfront Arena, located at 4501 Boardwalk in Wildwood. Admission is $15 at the door each day of the events.
