You may not be able to go out and celebrate Easter as you normally would this year, but here are a few ways for you and your family to have an “eggcellent” Easter at home!
Cape Trinity Catholic Hosts Virtual Easter Egg Hunt
Cape Trinity Catholic will be hosting a virtual Easter Egg Hunt in Cape May County on Easter Day, April 12. Participants may drive in their cars and visually “hunt” the giant Easter eggs hidden in front yards. To participate, you must create at least one 2-ft. Easter egg from any materials you have around the house and place it in your yard so that it is at least partially visible to participants from their cars. Email your location and number of eggs to look for to nuss@cape trinitycatholic.org to be included on the list of locations, then a list of egg locations will be posted on Cape Trinity’s website at www.capetrinitycatholic.org.
Order Takeout for Easter Dinner
If you don’t want to cook for Easter this year, many restaurants are still open for takeout and offering Easter specials. For more information, look through the Do The Shore section in this week’s Herald to see which restaurants are open and ready to help with your Easter dinner plans!
Livestream Church Services
Join your church for a celebration of Easter by live streaming church services from home. Many local churches have switched to live streams while the churches are closed to the public. For more information about your church, check the Church pages (out in the Herald April 8), check their Facebook pages or websites.
Get Easter Candy from The Original Fudge Kitchen
Even though you cannot shop in-store, The Original Fudge Kitchen in Cape May is still ready to provide plenty of Easter goodies! The Easter candy headquarters can ship to your home and some locations are offering curbside pickup (Stone Harbor & Cape May). Order online at www.fudgekitchens.com or call 1-800-23-FUDGE.
