In its second year, the Cape May Wine & Music Festival presented by Hawk Haven Vineyard & Winery will be held on Oct. 6-7. The festival features world class musicians, the finest New Jersey wineries, a craft beer garden and tasty street food vendors. One-day general admission is $25 before Sept. 27 and $35 at the door. VIP ticket $75 per day sold until Sept. 27. VIP ticket includes complimentary buffet and water, meet the makers with special tastings, a private tent and more!
Some of the finest New Jersey wineries will be present including Hawk Haven Winery, Cape May Winery, Auburn Road Vineyards, Bellview Winery, Cedar Rose Vineyards, Jessie Creek Winery, Natali Vineyards, White Horse Winery and William Heritage Winery. Included in the general admission ticket is the opportunity to taste their award-winning wines in a souvenir logo stemless glass included in the ticket price. From nationally renowned artists such as Gal Holiday, Swift Technique and Jeffrey Gaines to local favorites like The Chris GS & the Ramble, BlueBone and HEVEE LEVEE, even the vines will be dancing. These artists will be playing continuously on two stages from 12-6 p.m.
The Cape May Wine & Music Fest will have a craft beer garden featuring local craft breweries. Festival goers will be able to purchase tokens for a $5 pint of their favorite craft beers from the following breweries: Cape May Brewing Company, Slack Tide Brewing Company, Jersey Cider Works, Mudhen Brewing Company and Bucket Brigade Brewery.
Where there is wine and beer there must also be food: Mermaid Mutineer, a roving gypsy food truck serving Caribbean-inspired sandwiches and snacks; Taco Shop, with Lucas Manteca working his fiery Argentinian magic on the grill serving street tacos; Local favorite, Empanada Mama’s serving all kinds of empanadas; Hit the Road Jack serving fried green tomatoes, lobster rolls and more; Jenni Mac’s Winey Snacks serving tasty snacks and gourmet cheese plates to pair with your favorite wine; and Jersey Bill’s classic BBQ favorites!
