NORTH CAPE MAY – Want relief from winter cabin fever? Or, maybe a special night out with your valentine? The Ferry has your ticket to a landside culinary extravaganza! Sit back, relax, and enjoy a full-course dinner complete with local craft brew selections for two more Fridays!
The Ferry has partnered with craft breweries in New Jersey to host a series of unique dinner and beer pairing in the Sunset Lounge of the Cape May Ferry Terminal. The cost for each all-inclusive, four-course dinner is $59 per person.
“We’re excited to continue offering our beer dinner series this winter,” said Heath Gehrke, Director of Ferry Operations. “Our customers really seem to enjoy the unique combinations of craft beer and gourmet food pairings, not to mention some of the discussions about the finely crafted beer. With so many great craft brewing operations in the area and the talents of our food service operation, a beer dinner series is a natural. Each dinner is different so mark your calendars. You won’t want to miss these culinary delights!”

The Ferry Beer Flight dinners are beer’s equivalent to wine tastings. The focus of the Beer Flight Dinners is both to showcase the Cape May Terminal as a special event venue and to help promote the growing regional craft brewing industry in New Jersey. In addition, the gourmet four-course dinners feature the talents of the Ferry’s award-winning resident Chef John Schlaner
Festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m. with a reception, including Chef’s Selection of hors d’oeuvres with “cocktail” tastings. The reception is followed by the first course, salad course, entrée and dessert selection. These dinners also feature a representative from the select craft breweries who will discuss the various beer styles served at the dinner.
