From the creator of the classic movie, “Edward Scissorhands,” the Cape May Film Society is holding a month-long tribute to Tim Burton!
Starting Sunday, Feb. 4 at 3 p.m. in the West Cape May Firehouse Hall, come see unique “Frankenweenie,” which epitomized the Gothic cinematic style of Tim Burton’s animations.
The “Burtonesque” style may look macabre to some, but his fans can see the subtle lessons and parables that we can relate to… and there will be a brief discussion session afterwards.
The others in the series on tentatively planned for Saturdays, Feb. 10, 17 and 24; location to be detailed later.
A portion of the $5 admission goes to support Cape May Film Society’s activities. Refreshments will be available.
