Cape May County’s Earth Day Celebration Returns April 22

Where: Cape May County Park and Zoo  

On Saturday, April 22, 2023, Cape May County Park & Zoo will co-host its Annual Earth Day Celebration with the Cape May County MUA. Celebrating “Every Day is Earth Day.” It will be the largest Earth Day event in Cape May County. The community’s help is needed in order to make this event a success.  

The Cape May County Park and Zoo is the perfect location for this day of fun and learning. Hands on educational exhibits, children’s amusements, live entertainment, a variety of environmental eco-shops, scavenger hunt; all which will guarantee a day of Earth-friendly fun. Large tents on the center field will showcase educational exhibits.  

The Bandstand will feature family-friendly entertainment throughout the day. Crafters, various vendors, and a food court will surround the field and complete the venue. The Earth Day Celebration averages 4,000 visitors that day.  

If you would like to show the world your business or organization cares about the environment we live in, join us as an exhibitor or sponsor to take action today. Sponsors will be included in all promotional material and logos listed on the special edition t-shirt. All are welcome to set up table displays with information on your Earth-friendly company or offer an Earth-friendly educational display promoted by your business.

One just needs to look around the County to see that Cape May County businesses and residents practice the “Every Day is Earth Day” theme in everything they do. We all work hard to protect our environment. This is a great opportunity to show our pride and showcase our ongoing green efforts”, he added.
