The Cape May County Park & Zoo is proud to announce a free summer concert series in the Park. Join us Wednesday, July 12 and Wednesday, Aug. 9 at 6:30 p.m. for special evenings out, relaxing on the lawn in front of the Bandstand at the Park.
Bring a blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy the sounds of “Suite Inspiration” on July 12. Now entering their 26th year as a Choral Band, the Suite’s musical range keeps expanding, covering everything from doo wop to country, vocal jazz to folk, calypso to contemporary Christian, and instrumental to A Cappella.
On Aug. 9, the second free concert is offered by the John Walter Cape Community Band, recognized as the community concert band of Cape May County. Celebrating its 21st year, the John Walter Cape Community Band consists of volunteers of different ages and skill levels with a common interest – a love of playing music and entertaining others. The band plays a variety of musical styles, including marches, pop, rock, show tunes, movie themes, jazz and patriotic music.
