Although Drew is a resident of South Philadelphia, he and his family spend their summers living in Shawcrest.
Drew first started bartending at a local corner bar in South Philadelphia as a Saturday day bartender. He gradually picked up more days and nights at multiple locations, becoming a pro behind the bar. Now, Drew spends the warmer months serving Tollman Joe’s patrons, and works as a longshoreman back home during the offseason.
Drew’s favorite part of working at Tollman Joe’s is meeting new people. He shares that he’s built a great relationship with boaters and Shawcrest residents who often visit the restaurant and bar. When he isn’t working, Drew enjoys taking his children to the waterpark, beach and boardwalk, and trying new restaurants with his family.
Come visit Drew at Tollman Joe’s Bayside and ask for his favorite drink, the Twisted Tollman, which is a Twisted Tea on the rocks with your choice of Svedka flavored vodka floater. Stop by Monday through Friday between 3 and 6 p.m. and take advantage of the three-course meal special for $27. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. featuring a $5 menu and drink specials.
