Visitors of The Wharf recognize this week’s featured local mixologist as Joe Keds. Originally from Philly, he is now considered a local, residing in Wildwood for about 10 years now. Now entering his fifth summer at The Wharf, his bartending job serves as a summer gig.
When he’s not serving up drinks to both regulars and visitors at The Wharf, Joe enjoys spending time on the beach and taking his boat out on the water. But when he is behind The Wharf’s bar, Joe truly enjoys meeting new people, and shares that that’s his favorite part about working at The Wharf – that and the beautiful waterfront views when he’s lucky enough to serve up drinks at the outside bar.
Although Joe served us a tropical Wharf Rum Runner (which you can see him holding in his photo), he prefers a classic Wharf Margarita.
You can visit Joe and grab a Wharf Rum Runner, a Wharf Margarita or any other drink from The Wharf’s great cocktail menu seven days a week. Monday through Friday, you can catch some drink specials during Happy Hour from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., as well as $5 appetizers from 4 to 6 p.m. and $6.95 lunch specials at lunch time.
