Bartender of the Week: The Rusty Nail

This week we headed to one of Cape May’s most popular spots, The Rusty Nail to continue our quest to honor the area’s top mixologists. We were greeted by the friendly, smiling face of Billy Scott who was working the outdoor bar at The Nail, Billy quickly became an easy pick for this week’s honor. Billy has become quite the veteran at the restaurant as he began his career as a waiter and has recently moved on to his role as bartender which he has held for two years. When asked for a recommendation of food and drink from The Nail, Billy immediately suggested the fish tacos and a plain margarita, both excellent; separately or together.

When Billy is not whipping up cocktails at work, you can find him surfing wave breaks in Cape May County and along the New Jersey Coast. He also enjoys painting and traveling all over the world. A little known fact about him is he holds a Master’s Degree in Marine Biology. Visit Billy and the rest of The Rusty Nail crew, seven days a week, opening each day at 7:30 a.m with live music daily.
