This week, we found our featured local mixologist at a place where early risers can enjoy breakfast with an oceanfront view, and beachgoers can stop for a post-sand-and-surf meal. The Inlet on Olde has something for everyone, including cocktails of all kind served up by our bartender of the week – Jeanette!
Although Jeanette calls Philadelphia home, she spends her summers soaking up the sun here in Cape May County. This summer is her first bartending at The Inlet; however, she worked with The Inlet’s manager Puri 10 years ago at the Public House, which is how she got into bartending and ended up behind The Inlet’s bar. During the offseason, Jeanette bartends back home in Philadelphia.
Jeanette’s favorite part about working at The Inlet is her awesome coworkers and managers. She also enjoys the customers she meets. “Everyone is in vacation mode and always in a good mood,” she shared. Additionally, Jeanette told us that the beachfront view is a plus of the job!
Come visit Jeanette and The Inlet crew! Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner alongside cold drinks and views of the sand and surf. Jeanette suggests trying her favorite drink, the grapefruit crush. Stop by for Happy Hour from 2 to 5 p.m. daily, featuring $2.50 domestics, $3.50 Twisted Teas, $4 lemonades, $4 Three Olives drinks and $5 select appetizers. When the sun goes down, The Inlet has live entertainment every night to keep you on your feet. Whether you are strolling the strip of the legendary North Wildwood Entertainment District or making The Inlet your destination, this is the place where old friends make new memories!
