Although Ken grew up in South Philly, he is now considered a local at the Jersey Shore. He moved to North Wildwood permanently after retiring, and is now in his second summer bartending at Backfin Bar & Grill.
Ken is no stranger to the restaurant business. His family owned Snockey’s Oyster House for 103 years, and growing up he had no choice but to learn almost every job there. He eventually fell into bartending at Snockey’s, worked his way up to bar manager, and then became an owner before the business closed its doors in 2015.
Now, Ken works in his “happy place” as he calls it, and he loves the people he works with and for. When Ken isn’t working, he enjoys spending time at the beach.
