Avalon Players Presents ‘Beauty and The Beast, Jr.’

This year the theater group Avalon Players will perform the Disney classic “Beauty and The Beast, Jr.” on Aug. 3, 4 and 5 at 7 p.m. and Aug. 6 at 5 p.m. at the Avalon Elementary School Auditorium on 32nd and Ocean Drive in Avalon. The large cast includes many talented and young stars that live in and visit the Seven Mile Beach.

Tickets are $7 in advance and $8 at the door, and all tickets are general admission. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Avalon Elementary School on July 31 from 6 to 7 p.m.

The director is Jen Creed Rego, the technical director is Kevin Ginsberg and the choreographer is Maddie DeFelice.

This year marks our 33rd consecutive show. Avalon Players gives children the opportunity to perform in front of a large audience. What makes the Players unique is that every child who auditions is given a part in the production. Avalon Players’ fondest hope is to continue to provide the youth of South Jersey with an introductory vehicle to the theater arts.

Come out and support the fine work of the Players and enjoy the show.
