This year the Avalon Players will perform the Disney classic “Mary Poppins Jr.” on Aug. 2-4 at 7 p.m. Aug. 5 at 5 p.m. at the Avalon Elementary School Auditorium on 32nd and Ocean Drive in Avalon. The large cast includes many talented and young stars that live in and visit the Seven Mile Beach.
Tickets are $7 in advance and $8 at the door; all tickets are General Admission.
The Director is Jen Creed Rego and the choreographer is Aubrey Conley.
This year marks our 34th consecutive show. Avalon Players gives children the opportunity to perform in front of a large audience. What makes the Players unique is that every child who auditions is given a part in the production. Avalon Players fondest hope is to continue to provide the youth of South Jersey with an introductory vehicle to the theater arts.
