The Avalon Lions Club is holding a giant centennial celebration on Saturday, July 21 from 5 to 9 p.m. to say thank you to their neighbors for supporting their charities over the years.
The Family Fun Festival will take place at the Avalon Community Hall at 30th Street and the beach. It is absolutely free and includes music and dancing with WIBG DJ Billy O, a photo booth, corn hole games, and complimentary pretzels, soda and water; BYO food and beverages are welcome. For the kids, there will be balloons, face painting and a slime table.
The evening will showcase more than a dozen charities the Avalon Lions support during the year.
