WheatonArts and Cultural Center is hosting the Antique + Artist Market on Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29, rain or shine! This two-day event showcases WheatonArts’ resident and associated artists, and nearly 40 antique dealers in and around the Event Center at WheatonArts. Attendees can explore a wide selection of antique furniture, art, books, ceramics, glass, jewelry, linens, memorabilia, toys, pottery, vintage accessories and more. Handmade works for sale by WheatonArts resident and associated artists, including blown glass, pottery, beads, woodwork, jewelry and photography, will be displayed throughout the campus. Participating artists include Terry Plasket, Joe Mattson, Deborah DiMarco, Cherelle Oriolo, Anthony Niglio, Art Parkin and many more!
The Antique + Artist Market will be open from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. both days. During the event, WheatonArts is offering half-price admission of $5 a ticket! The award-winning Museum Stores, Museum of American Glass, Glass Studio and Pottery Studio will be open during the event. Attendees can take part in a free family art activity of printing on glass panels, included with admission. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase from local food vendors.
